We live in West Yorkshire but are going over to Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire, tomorrow. Forecast to be good but who knows?! Will update you tomorrow when we're back if that helps!
I am in Redcar (about 20 miles up the coast from whitby) and it has been dry but overcast and breezy today. Fairly chilly as well but as newnatjj says it is meant to improve tomorrow.
Just got back from Jasmine Park at Snainton today, had a lovely week, weather quite mixed, some lovely sunshine and some heavy rain. Was really cold on Thursday night, but rest of the time been pretty average for the time of year.
Back home today to Filey (about 20 miles south of Whitby) after camping out Malton way on, and its been lovely today, mild (especially after the pants weather Wednesday and Thursday) about 18 degrees, forecast for sunny spells/cloudy tomorrow and sun sun sunny on Monday about 22 degrees, staying the same Tuesday and cooling off to about 16 degrees on Wednesday.
Prior to and during camping, we always weather check all the time and its been pretty accurate this week, what you tend to find living on the east coast is that whatever time rain is forcast, its usually arrives a couple of hours later (due to the penine effect I think!)
Been lovely, warm and sunny here today and the weather for the next couple of days is set to be the same (typical, now the kids are going back to school!)
Met office only give a five day forecast, although apparently weather is only accurate up to three days!
However up till Friday, its sunny spells all the way, with a cool spell on Wednesday at a brrrr 16 degrees!! and back up to 20 degrees for Thursday and Friday.
Bit overcast here this morning in Bridlington but was glorious yesterday. Hoping for great weather on monday when we take our new royal athens 6 for a spin up to Scarborough :)
