Can anyone recommend a cure for leg cramps caused by cold feet in bed ?!!!
I am thinking warm, fluffy bedsocks - but any useful tips welcome. My poor hubby is suffering regularly at the moment as the dark nights draw in and it looks like a winter of him hopping around the bedroom ahead unless we find something that works.
Having had cramp so bad in my calf once it actually tore my calf muscle, I can sympathise.
I find if I make sure I stretch each calf out as much as I can each night before bed, make sure my legs don't get cold at all and eat a banana a day, the cramps stay away.

I do the same, basically leg exercises as I do when flying on holiday and a banana every day.
I tend to run cold even in summer and try to keep my core warm which seems to help.
Unfortunately it doesn't help the cramps in my hands, especially when writing or computer work..excruciating

I get cramps sometimes so severe that my legs 'lock up' and am prescribed Quinine Sulphate tabs but they don't always work. When on holiday this year I forgot to take them with me and did not suffer one cramp, when back home they returned. I explained this to my Doctor and she asked what bed we slept in so I told her it had an Ikea foam mattress and was very comfortable. I have taken to sleeping on the Aerobed recently and am certainly not suffering as bad as I used to, so maybe it's worth investing in a new bed soon

I have three sides, left, right and wrong - which one are you on?
I suffered for a while so know what you are going through. I was advised by a nurse to put a bag of corks in the bed. No idea how, but it definitely worked for me.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
