That model of camera sounds as though it is prone to faults. Are the pictures fury around the edges or a bit out of focus as my GE camera did this so I cleaned the lense and it fixed the problem, just a thought.

Pictures are more grainy than anything. Normal snapshots are a bit blurry all over sometimes, as though I moved when taking it, but fine others. Macro it more miss than hit.

I press the button down and it focuses then takes an out of focus pic. It might be me but my previous camera always gave me a sharp picture.

Either way, I am not happy with the camera. It is either now as easy to use as presented or has a fault.

if you brought a brand new car and it took 3 or 4 times to start it you would take it back so just because its a camera thats cheaper when you only get one good pic out of ever 3 or 4 why not take it back?

ANY modern day camera should be capable of taking decent clear pictures (even a cheap one). If the results are not as would be considered normal for this type of product take it back and return it. Not because it is faulty but because it is not of "merchantable quality". TBH that usually stumps them as they dont normally get that one (its usually I dont want it or it broken)
