Remember last week or so I posted about my son having problems with his mobile with Vodaphone and that they were telling porkies!!!
Well, a letter was written by son and partner, edited and enhanced by me and posted and emailed to them at Head office and to the Chief Executive explaining what had happened and how unhappy he was with the situation.
Today a brand new state of the art very expensive phone was delivered to him at work as a replacement for the one that was 'water damaged'.
Last Friday his 'faulty' phone was returned to him with a short curt letter saying here's the phone with no repairs done. And that was it.
Saturday he received a phone call from a lady who said she was PA to the Chief Exec and she was, on his behalf, apologising for the issues my son had had and what phone would he like. A free upgrade.
Well done Vodaphone. and a big thank you for putting it right.
I have a little samsung chat because its got a qwerty keyboard and I do a lot of texting to a friend who is off work longterm sick. OH has the disgarded phone now. Not that he will be able to work it. He can just about manage the samsung chat that he has.
Great result. I've used this resource UK CEO email addresses for issues with BT, BG, and nPower and it's amazing how quickly things start moving when you go to the top.
