No, I was at Riverside camp site, Cononley, just south of Skipton. Lovely site in a lovely village but very muddy in wet weather

Just an update on Sophie, she had her stitches out today and the vet was very pleased with her leg. It's healed up nicely and the skin isn't even puckered up like you normally get with stitches. I must admit I was really worried when I first took her and he wanted me to book her in straight away for the op, but hopefully that's the end of it now and she'll be one of the 9 in 10 that doesn't have a regrowth. Now all we have to do is wait for her fur to grow back

She's been a little star all the way through. Never minded having the 'lampshade' thing on, never refused her medication, very calm and patient up on the vet's table and never bothered when her stitches were taken out. I have to admit that when I was looking for a companion for Sugar she wasn't really what I had in mind, but now, three years down the line, I'm so glad I got her and I wouldn't part with her for anything. She's my 'baby' and I love her to bits - and Sugar too of course!

Thanks for the good wishes. As I type this Sophie is curled up asleep almost under my chair - if I wheel myself away from the desk she'll get run over! lol

Here's a pic of her and Sugar in the back of the van at the end of one of our camping holidays - you can tell by their faces they didn't want to come home!
