That looks very tidy, always liked the prelude, but you don't see many around?

apart from certain cars like the land rovers and that kind of car, i dont think there are many 21 year old cars around, preludes or others.

its all part of the disposable society. the problem with hondas - they were very reliable if correctly serviced but if something does go wrong the parts and labour are expensive with prices more in line with servicing something posh like a mercedes!

fortunately our has only needed parts like brakes and exhausts and batteries from time to time like every car needs.

we are very happy with it anyways and wont be partng with it. - sorry didnt mean to detract from the original posters thread about land rovers - just wanted to share our old car with you and that you can keep older cars going and not send them to the crusher!.

A classic car is a car to be showed off. Thanks for sharing. at least you can reconise your car and mine unlike the newer models of today that all look like each other17

Still on the hunt and fingers crossed might have one lined up, I won`t say too much incase it falls through.

We had a silver focus. I parked it outside our local CoOp and when I came out there were 4 of them all in silver all identical. I couldnt remember the reg no, so I had to walk up and down the row of cars with the key fob to see which one opened!!

17 Brilliant.

We picked up the Disco the other day and so far were happy with it. The chap who sold us it did a part x with ours and hes either going to weld it or use it as an off roader so pleased its still being used. The new to us one is 19 years young and has a 12 month mot and will do us fine until we can find one a bit younger or is were happy we may just plod along in it.
