Our cat socks is about 8 now, but until he was three or four he could if the weather was 'right' be found clinging to the curtain rail after a mad moment.
They don't happen any more because Jack the dog would be trying to join him.

I have really enjoyed reading this thread. My little rescue cats Aled & Gizmo are so funny. Gizmo is a proper little nutter, tearing around chatting to himself. I used to have a cat called Louis that would retrieve things for me like pegs or pens and he used to love to sit on my shoulder while I danced around the room. He also used to "sit" when I told him. He used to follow me and the dogs when we went for a walk. I'm sure he thought he was a dog too.
Mine will come for walks too, trotting along behind or running ahead. You get funny looks from dog walkers!
And so much for the 4-way cat flap. If I set it to IN only, the younger cat just hooks it with a claw, pulls it towards him and goes back out again!
