My first job was as a shoerepairer and a career of 12 years so have an advantage when it comes to our littluns footwear.None have fallen apart or worn out they have just grown out of them.
Every week i polish them up getting rid of the scuffs and giving them a once over in general.If i spot the sole coming away i repair it before it gets worse.It only takes a bit of super glue to repair it.Make the leather a little moist with saliva etc then use a dab of superglue,job done.
If you saw my sons shoes after a week of being kicked about then what they look like after a good polish you wouldnt recognise them.
