Went to see 'Hold Back the Night' a tribute to Abba and the Bee Gees last night at Hull New Theatre. It was great! At £17.50 / £15.50 a ticket it was great value - in the current climate we very rarely go out so it was such a nice change. Real mixed bag audience too!
If you like the music of one or the other ( or both like me!) Andnit's on near you I would highly recommend.

I like both so would love to see it. Is it a theatre group touring the country or just one local to you?

BRS Entertainment- I think they are touring the country as they have a planned tour of the States later in the year.
I happened to pick a flyer up when I was at the theatre for panto.

Thanks, I've just googled it and got their website, unfortunately there's only two shows left now, one in April and another in May, and neither of them are anywhere near me. The nearest would have been Blackpool but that was last October.

Thats a good price for New Theatre, we'd go more if it wasnt for the prices there, but we tend to go to Hull Truck more often. Though I think they need more cheerful stuff on there, theres enough misery in the world so when we go out, we want to laugh not watch someone else being miserable

bit of a hijack but if you want a good giggle and have a DARK sense of humor Jimmy carr is good to see, he only plays very small venues and quite cheap compared to other places i think we payed in the region of 14 to 17 pound for him in warrington parr hall he sat outside the exit to the main hall and signed everyones tickets.

if you want a FREE night out look up some of the audience web sites tickets free entrance.

Oh dragged me to watch BGT on sunday at lowry hall.
