Hi Guys, just a bit of advice. I have a porch awning to sell and was just wondering when would be the best time to advertise it ? Is it still a bit early to do it now as obviously I would like to get the best price possible? Thanks for all input.

I advertised our caravan early January and the phone rang off the hook!

Advertise it, nothing to lose.

Advertise it now, we sold an awning 2 weeks ago loads of enquiries and when we advertised it July/August no interest! Folks are getting ready for the season ahead

We sold our caravan in the autumn. Had quite a lot of interest. I think this idea that you sell better in the spring is a myth

Thanks for the input so far, where is the best places to sell ? I would like to avoid ebay if poss.

Also it is a Starcamp Quattro (same as Dorema Quattro) with Alloy poles in imaculate condition so any one have any idea what it is worth ? The new price seems to be about £320 and the Dorema £434.

Any Ideas ?

if it's in good con then you want at least half price... go 3/4 and see what interest it generates..
you can always 'lower' if no interest...

I would try here and the CC if you are a member and any free ads (facebook,e mail etc). local papers etc

If no joy then ebay but will probably cost you 10-12% of the price you achieve in fees
