I bought what i thought was a vango diablo, yes I know it was discontinued some time ago, at a discounted price in comparison to other web sales. Anyway, after having to cancel the camp trip at easter, I put the thing away. I have pulled it out and with the help of my neighbour stuck it up in the garden. But I anticipated inner first. NOPE, an outer and bedroom pods. Was this the difference between XP and bog standard 400? I've never had a Vango. However I am really rather pleased (if it is the genuine article), if it isn't, I'm still okay unless it leaks. It has all the Vango bits and pieces, all the nice little design touches. It just fills the garden. The garden is sloping so have never managed to get any tent pitched correctly.

I think I am 'being told' here aren't I. I don't use the tinterweb to buy a lot of stuff....
Yeah it says Vango, Yeah I like it.... Yeah I should shut up. its just when I see other Vangos on here.. This looks nothing like

have you compared it visually to another on the web? that may tell you if..A you've made a profit with getting an upgrade for free.... or B bought what you thought you had paid for in the first place and "broke even"!!

Looks exactly like this to me - Vango Diablo 400
Having had a Diablo 900 xp be grateful that you dont have to thread miles of poles through the sleeves. Having half sleeves is so much quicker and easier. Looks a lovely tent
I've checked as many images as possible, but has anyone noticed the amount of images linking back to the tent reviews on here. 90% of the images are UKCS ones
Have been sat in it again. The more I go to see it, the happier I get. :-) Like I said, I have never bought something quite this big or as important from a website. In the past its been a Millets, Yeomans and a Go experience. Never had a Vango. What threw me the most was the info was 'inner first', so when I unrolled it... outer and bedroom pods.
Thanks everyone. I'm prob just over-reacting and getting impatient and want to get out and use it... NOW, (stamping my feet)
Thanks muchly
