Can anyone tell me a site that is usually accurate as at the minute net weather  and accuweather both say different things for this week so i dont know what to pack

I use met office but your best bet is to look out of the window lol

Pack for both. Swimming costume, warm wooly jumper and waterproofs, that way you should be covered.

I just use the BBC forecast when in the UK. My top tip is just keep trying various ones until they give you the forecast you want - hot and sunny...

The 'best' weather site will tell you that the sun is always shining at the weekend. Unfortunately there is no 'most accurate' weather site.

Weather sites are no different to the BBC, ITV,SKY etc., they can all produce different forecasts for the same days/week !!

I try 3 or 4 and average them out. They all say different things for the same day.

Basically anything beyond about 3 days is ALWAYS based on chance. Remember the famous 'Fish' failure to report the Hurricanes - while these days they 'probably' would warm you - the forecasters have done a re-run of the data Fish had on the day and there was a good percentage it would be fine at the time.

5 days ahead, as such, is NEVER going to be accurate because of the the fact weather patterns can change in a number of ways - some will produce rain, other sun, and at 5 days out there is sufficient variability to render such forcasts a 'best guess'.

As such just use the website you prefer - they are all as accurate as each other.

One of the best weather sites is in Norway,yes Norway but gives excellent UK(and worldwide) forecasts

I have a weather app that came with my iPod and it is about as accurate as any I have found. It is updated hourly. I have no idea of the source though.

The most accurate of all forecasts usually comes from the local farmers who manage to beat the weathermen every time.
