We me, hubby and 2 teenage lads have just spent 1/2 hour searching fields and local housing estate for our Jack Russell JEFFREY only for one son to double check at home to see if he had returned and heard him yap, trapped in the bathroom he had gone in and door had blown too lol.
We then spent another 30 mins trying to let each other know as no one thought to pick up mobiles.
well that was abit of exercise none of us where expecting today lol
Me too, glad he is safe and wasn't really lost! Phew!
My little rescue, not long after I had her, jumped a gate I didn't think she was capable of jumping and invited herself to a barbecue down the road! I thought she was just outside in the garden until I got a phone call! I have a very very tall gate now!
On fine days on campsites I have to watch her as well, she still keeps inviting herself to other people's barbecues!
Yes we where really relieved he was safe
He came with the name JEFFREY but don't we wish we had been able to change it as people do give you strange looks when calling him. Mind I actually called the cat puss so perhaps he fits in quite well
My dog Ziva is a Canaan dog, they are bred to guard the Bedouins in the desert and dig holes to curl up in.I came home one day to silence ,wasn't worried as I thought she was in a hole in the garden,NO ,started to worry that my drug dealing neighbour had stolen her as she is valuable and had sold her on.I searched the whole estate getting more and more angry at my neighbour .Eventually I couldn't hold back and hammered on his door giving him a right mouthful and stamping up and down his driveway shouting to the world about his dealings,I stamped home and up the stairs into my bedroom when a head popped out of my MATTRESS ,SHE HAD DUG HERSELF A HOLE INSIDE IT.,memory foam piled under my duvet .I couldn't face my neighbour but I have to say he gave me a wide berth and moved out a month later lol
I am glad he was found safe and sound. Glad I dont live next door to you Julie. I have two min j/r's the one who is name Mini (was that when we had her) is the size of a staffy
Oh dear, that's where having two dogs works well I just say to Mollie find Betty and she does, say to Betty find Mollie and off she trots bringing her back with her.

We do have 2 dogs the other is a labrador who just gave us that look of ~oh dear does that mean I get the dog bed all to my self ~
P.S they have a dog bed each but always tend to curl up in the smallest dog basket together.
