I know this is a camping forum but has anyone got a recommendation for holiday lets in Norfolk. It will be the first time away for the pup and have not yet got the car to haul the camping gear and her.Thank you
Have a look on Cumbrian cottages then do cottages in Norfolk and other places and your dog goes for free we just had a holiday cottage in bowness in the lakes and it was fab
Hoseasons own cottages 4 you and all the locations are on the main hoseasons site anyway. You can search by county and see the locations on the map. There is also the option to stay in chalets on the big parks (although many charge for dogs).
Any idea which part of Norfolk you want to stay in? Hunstanton (closest to you is about 3 hour drive) and Great Yarmouth ( furthest away is about 4 1/2 hours drive).
How about buying a newspaper, some holiday lets advertise in the back of the sun/mirror etc.
Whereabouts do you want to go, my boss has a holiday cottage on her farm but only advertises it locally.
2 bed cottage, Gressenhall near Dereham, its about 30-40 mins drive from North Norfolk beaches. She allows dogs and there are plenty of private walks available.
We stayed here a few years back. It is in a great location and very well fitted out. It looks like they have redecorated since we were there so I would say it is probably even better now. If it is the same owners there was a welcome tray of local food and jam when we arrived.
We've stayed in Ringstead a few times. Lovely tiny village near Hunstanton.
We've chosen cottages from Cottages for You, and also Norfolk Hideaways Norfolk Hideaways
We've stayed in some great places, but have generally found that you do get what you pay for, and the more pricey places are better equipped and more comfortable. But prices in the school holidays can be a bit eye watering!
Thank you for all your help.We ended up booking with Welcome cottages as the place we were looking at was cheaper for the same cottage than other sites as dogs go free.Oh and we are going to Dunster.I know it's not in Norfolk but looks beautiful
