We have a leanto and it gets really hot.As its old and will be replaced i ended up fitting 50mm celotex and boarding over the roof.It kept the heat down a little but is a lot warmer in the winter.

I didnt do it for heat control in the summer and its still unbearable to be in there in this latest heatwave.Opening the windows works better.

Window tint film may help a little but you need something that reflects the heat away to get the best results i think.

The guy who had this house before us had the conservatory roof boarded out on the inside with plaster board (cheap and cheerful) and then large pattern artex and a coat of emulsion.

Looks find keeps it cool in summer and warmer in winter. Simples and Cheap! - He was a Scot!
