I watched the first episode, complete crap. And havent bothered with it since then.
But after reading this thread, I watched the caravan rerun tonight.....I am now going to sue the BBC for my injuries, I now have split sides and wet undercrackers
Well done top gear

It would make a lousy tow car though
Incredibly expensive to buy. Heavy on fuel. Won't tow a caravan. Only carries 2 people. Very harsh ride. Difficult over speed bumps. doesn't carry luggage. Looks pig ugly. Hugely expensive to insure. It WILL go quickly but not a lot else.

I thought Top gear stopped being funny years ago. I don't know what's so funny about such contrived nonsense, with all the hilarious "accidents" they have that aren't scripted at all.
But it looks like they have pushed it a little too far now...Top Gear in trouble
Yes some of its contrived but surely we have all been to the dump and seen almost new things bunged away. The truth of that section chimed with my life.
I was also staggered that the tow hitch did not break under such violent use.
We use a tent so feel I could laugh from the sidelines. Queue outrage.
I follow a twitter feed who has something to do with production. He was saying before that there was a lot of unscripted stuff in this episode that was really good.
