And the winner so far from my other thread is..............Night Vision Binoculars da ra!
Been googling them and my head is puggled. Can anyone recommend a good pair in a middling price range (a coupla hundred probably). Personal recommendations would be better than reviews, I've read a load of those and conflicting info. Would be used for odserving wildlife primarily I imagine. Or would night vision minocular be better?
The Lidl's ones are widely used by Tim's bushcraft buddies and they are under £100. Meant to be as good as the ones for several hundred pounds odd. Otherwise you are looking at £1000 odd.

Ali
I like Aldo and lidless stuff so will def look out for them. Thanks
Feeblecat what do you want to do with them? I bought some years ago, they were useless, new models may be much better. I go out on a bright night to watch wildlife. Badgers can be watched during the summer months during daylight. I also watched them using a torch.
Ahh, a rethink may be required - just when I thought I had it in the bag! I am being put off this idea - i'm happy to spend a few hundred quid for the right thing but not to throw my money away on something useless.
Back to my original thread then on gadget/pressie ideas!
