They advertise at the side of motorways and for that reason I am out.

Do they? haven't noticed but the TV ad annoys me! The prices are very good but no idea if the products are.

My friend bought her bathroom and ensuite from them last November and has been happy with it all so far.I have just bought a suite from Plumbworld and although not fitted yet the quality seems good.

I would only buy from a company that sells branded goods. Then you can compare price with other suppliers to get a feel for the quality of the goods you are looking at. You will find that there are a lot of inferior quality own-brand goods that will not be up to the duty of everyday use and will look shoddy before long.

I tend to stick with Ideal Standard, quality goods and if needed their after sales service is excellent.

Plumbworld sells branded goods :)

We have a relative who works in the trade and he recommends that people should find the items they want then look for a "Plumbers' Merchant" in their area to actually buy from.

Plumbers' Merchants often have showrooms and sell to the public alongside their trade counters.

Prices at these outlets beat national companies like Victoria Plumb hands down even places like B & Q and the like for exactly the same items..

Plumbers' Merchants are also the places that your plumber would use after you have chosen from the brochures he has shown you.

Great savings to be had for not too much leg work if you're interested.

In the East Midlands one such company is CHP supplies (unfortunately NO commission for me !) but there are many others.

Yes used them for shower, shower pump, enclosure, 2 toilets bath, and bathrrom cabinets over the last few years, excellent prices and prompt delivery, with good advice given if needed. Recommended them to a friend and he has done two bathrooms out with their stuff and also had good service.

If you do buy from a Trade outlet don't forget to check whether VAT has been applied on any quote as they always quote trade prices excluding VAT.

Used them in July this year. Very pleased with the quality (toilet and washbasin) and they themselves say to check everything carefully. If there is a problem they will replace the item, just return it with the driver before he leaves. Delivery was within 10 minutes of when they said, preceded by an email and phone call. I would use them again certainly and love the result.
