If it keeps to the track they're predicting we can expect up to 80mph gusts in exposed areas here in Worcestershire according to the forecast on the TV this morning, oh and an awful lot of rain! Memories of 2005 (Cumbria) and 2007 (Worcestershire) come back to haunt me.

They have just been interviewing Michael Fish on the BBC evening news, he said that its looking like it may be heading further north than first expected, with the worst of it gaining strength over the north sea has it heads towards northern Germany and the Scandinavian countries.
Still a strong storm and battering over the southern half of the Uk and over the Midlands though.

Calm and dry here in Liverpool at the moment. Hope that it stays that way, as I have promised to take Alice to the local animal rescues centre Catstravaganza event.
As it has been so wet and miserable this week, when they have been on half term, we've hardly done anything - cinema the once, and that has been it.
They are back at school tomorrow and I could really do with them out of my way to do a massive tidy up (my way - all the stuff that they have been asked to pick up will and haven't will never be seen again).

Most of the trains in the south will not start to run until after 10am at the earliest, and that together with the fact that they have advised people to stay in doors and not to travel unless really necesary, l bet most people will take an extra day off work.
