iv just had an email sent to me to say that WhatCar January edition is now available to buy online or in shops.

why?

its november - the middle of November.

i mean where does this stop? its almost as though they are using the names of months of the year without any regard to the actual months we are in and they are selling.

i feel like emailing them and reminding them of the month we are in now. In case they dont know. because it feels to me as if they dont.

at this rate in 5 years time, they ll be emailing me in january to tell me that julys edition is now available to buy in shops or online and when july comes around then decembers will be available!.

rant over!!!

Just marketing to give the magazine a longer shelf life. Monthly mags have always been published at least a month before their cover date, it must work or they wouldn't do it.

hmm, the short-list of nominees for NEXT YEARS car of the year is done in December, the 2014 car of the year being announced in march, surly that's the car of the year for 2013????????
