Clicking noise? You dont perhaps live in the country do you? With cattle not far from you?
Nearest cattle some six miles away but I do have the odd escaped tup and frequent visits by a red deer stag! Enlighten me please!!
The clicking is very often caused by electric fences. They act as massive antennas which your phone line runs above. They cause interference which you here as a clicking sound on the line. However some interference can't be heard, but can still be having a negative effect of on your broadband.
The problem can be fixed often by the elecric fence being properley grounded. Sometimes farmers, for whatever reason, don't set them up optimally.
