I'm beyond excited. Despite years of camping and caravanning under my belt I still get excited at the start of the new camping season. Taking the caravan next week to be sited for the next 8 months. Just spent an hour or 2 faffing about in the van getting prepped. I'm like a child. I'm just so fed up with the wet winter I cant wait to get going.

Luckily our site is OK. I do feel really sad for those caught up in the floods - when things eventually dry up all the small villages and towns and businesses are going to need tourism to help them get back on their feet. Here's to a dry (not asking for hot) Spring and Summer.

This will be our 3rd year on a seasonal pitch, even though the site did not close till 1st Jan feels like ages seen we have seen our pride an joy!!! Can not wait till 1st March to go an give the van a wash an good spring clean inside, dont know who is more excited us or the kids!!!

We have been surprised how much we have missed being away during the winter and can't wait.
Sadly we were due to be away partly in half term but had to cancel or non weather reasons so likely to be a few days down in Cornwall at Easter as first trip.
