Been to lots of Ceilidhs, and played at them (fiddle)....in Scotland they tend to be a more traditional affair with kilts everywhere. I'd say casual, jeans and simple white shirt and if you want to be geeky wear a leather waistcoat. PS gave up the fiddle long ago, I sing classical now. Next concert is Brahsm Requiem, then Faure Requiem in May ..its all muisc and all for pleasure
