Ive heard that some unknown is to represent us in the song contest.Ive just heard what she sounds like and what a load of. I think Sam Bailey should have represented us ?
It wouldn't matter who represents us - we will never win now (probably a good thing - it costs nearly as much to stage as the Olympics, and doesn't bring in anything like the revenue!) as it's totally political.

I bet there will be one change this year as I doubt Ukraine will be giving any points to Russia.
The whole thing should have been scrapped years ago, it's had its day. I don't watch it, haven't done for years, but then I don't need to - I only need to read comments on forums like this to know that most of the songs and singers are dire and we won't win anyway, so I'm not missing anything.

The Eurovision Pong Contest. Every one a stinker... Don't mind this year's song entry TBH, not bad at all. Don't know who Sam Bailey is. Only bother with it for Graham Norton and Ken Bruce and their increasingly inebriated banter, priceless! (But can someone tell me why we have to send Graham Norton and Ken Bruce and about 900 other BBC employees to the country in question, when they could put them in front of a screen in London and let them commentate?)
