I used to think I would hate it when our daughters left home, we are very close. I didnt, and I started to enjoy a kid-free zone in a different way. My eldest went to uni in Spain and we spoke/skyped almost daily. Now they are all back and live practically 5 minutes away.
However, now I have a grandson the thought of them moving anywhere kills me. A lot of my daughters friends have moved to Australia. My son in law has the kind of job he could get work anywhere in the world. I pray they never want to go for the big bucks - i cant imagine my life now without grandson - it is a different feeling altogether!
