If at anytime there is any problem they will take back the dog but of course they will advise and help to support you in your adoption to make it work for you both. There are independent Greyhound Rescues not associated with RGT. My Greyhound is an Irish girl who has gone on to become the most amazing and loved pet :) Post last edited on 23/04/2014 22:09:02
We are deeply saddened too. It's just so frustrating that it could have been different. I don't want to "name and shame" who it was, but they really are in too much of a hurry to rehome their dogs. It's hit me big time today - keep thinking I hear him around the house and I'm pretty miserable.
I really feel the Rescue Centre has let you and the Grey down :( Hoping one day you find a doggie where you can both be happy. Give yourself time. Please do not be put off Greys they do make wonderful pets :)

Cbreddy you have misinterpreted my post. Unfortunately.
Unless I have misinterpreted yours. Telling OP not to be put off by GH because of Dan's behaviour. If this is the case, I agree with you.
Any slight aggression is not tolerated. I met someone who has a Grey, because she was toooo laid back. Just wanted to play with other greys rather than race. Her career did not last long. Lololo
Wires crossed a bit I think, I was agreeing with what you were saying, that NOT ALL GREYS ARE BAD. Same with any dog.
------------- Never look down at anybody....
.....unless to offer a hand, to help them up
