Oh, so sorry to hear about Logi. It's a sad time for you. It seems I spoke too soon, up again last night with the coughing and this morning a prolonged attack.

Is he on the pills yet? They take a few weeks to establish, but they do have a substantial effect on the dog's overall wellbeing. Don't write him off until he's had a couple of months on the pills!
Said goodbye to Ted yesterday. Difficult of course, and so sad of course. Hopefully one day I'll be able to think of him without crying. Heartbroken. X
Aww, I'm so sad and sorry to read this. It may be of little comfort at the moment but you did your best for him and I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted you to let him suffer. Sending you ((hugs))
RIP Logi, run free at Rainbow Bridge xx

We lost our springer nearly 5 weeks ago now. He was 14 and we'd had him from 8 weeks. He was like my first born child as my son is 9.
I still think of him and miss him every day. We were very close and had never spent a night apart in all the years we had him.
It was a physical pain, like my heart had broken.
I loved that dog like a child and will never forget him but you have to remember all the times he made you laugh, comforted you when you needed it, was there when you needed to talk about something.
I did all this with my boy, he was like another human.
You will get through it but its gonna take time.
Duffs, it was your words, better a day too early than a day too late, that really helped us to know we were doing the right thing. So thank you! I hate going into the garden cos he's all around! Time heals I know. So will cry when I need to for now.
So very sorry to read this news, having lost three special dogs in my life I know exactly the pain you are going through. Be comforted by the good life you undoubtedly gave Ted and that you haven't let him suffer. Thoughts are with you, RIP Ted, run free x
