hi all...went to watch elbow the other week at liverpools echo arena....its the second time ive seen them there and again..what a superb night .we were right near the stage. guy garvey really knows how to work the crowd...when they went off just before they come back for an encore .. the cameraman kept zooming in on the unsuspecting fans much to the audiences joy

I'm a huge fan of Elbow, Guy Harvey is, in my opinion, an incredibly talented chap as are the rest of the musicians in the band, They are playing the Eden Sessions up the road from me this year - can't wait!

They did the same in Nottingham with the crowd. They get better year on year. Only thing that disappointed me this year was the mirror ball effects weren't as good as previously. Last two years the ball was on the floor and really lit up the arena. This year it was more like a 90s disco.

I heard them on the radio today with dermot talking about a reversed Mexican wave.

Lucky you, I've only recently started paying any attention to them.
