Well. he is somewhere in the audience at the snooker. Hope he is enjoying it. I had to get the bus and then walk about a mile back to Wyming Brook Farm in low cloud, which was fun (not). I hope his friends who have come up from Luton will not lead him astray too much...there was talk of a casino and 3am. Oh well, only happens once I suppose.
was watching bargain hunt yesterday, I never normally watch it but yesterday I put it on, saw my neighbour from 5 doors away sat in the auction room watching the auction take place!

He was at the evening session, dropped his glasses case so made a noise even though he didn't shout. Was back at midnight (bunch of wimps). He enjoyed it.
I remember when, as a student at Sheffield Uni (the proper Uni, not the renamed poly) three of us went to watch a second round match and also one of the semi finals, this was in the early 1980's.
We got back from the Cruicible to the Hall of Residence just in time for them to be showing the match we had seen (not shown live then). Standing at the back of the TV room, one of the players was about to take an easy shot when I muttered "I bet he misses this one"
"How did you guess that one?" we were asked. When we explained we had just come back from that match at the Cruicible we decided to leave the TV room rather quickly before we were lynched.
