Why are were people going on about how brave SHE is? like they were talking about someone who has done something really brave or special?

Whilst I do recognise there are people out there who do feel they are the wrong gender there is a difference...........
   
He is a drag queen (no shame in that it's a job) named Tom who chose this alter ego Conchita as an act a couple of years ago after being in a boy band and appearing on a couple of reality shows.

It's plain to me the bloke is so hungry for success he will do anything lets see if he still wants to be a woman when the madness dies down and he needs to dream up another alter ego.

Oh and can't anyone come up with something that pushes the boundarys for the UK next year we may have a chance of winning because it's nothing at all to do with the music.

I'd like to thank the OP for the gratuitous link to the Polish song!

Netherlands were my fave. It's such a camp competition that a drag artist will Inevitably be in with a shout. Can't we wheel out Elton John in full plumage next year?

You can only hate it if you take it seriously, and there's really no point in.doing that. I've never really understood why Israel are involved though.

I think Israel is in it because it's the European telly area or something like that rather than a Europe continent thing, the European broadcasting union host the contest and Israels telly is part of that.

The song that won wasn't exactly great. I thought it was an actual bearded lady at first. I really liked Iceland and Switzerland. The France was proper weird and the French voting lady, haha. And when they surprised graham norton. He's my favourite part of Eurovision.
