If there's nothing in the subject box, and I don't know the name of the sender, I send the email to my Spam box and then delete it from there. If it's from Amazon or eBay or PayPal or Bank of America (or anywhere I don't have accounts), I forward the emails to their security dept address - I've had dozens of these phishing emails, we all have. I ignore messages about my Apple account for the iPod too - if something breaks, then I shouldn't have ignored the message, but I've been OK so far. I enjoy the spams about inheriting millions - I'd be a wealthy person if they were true. But.... my email was hacked this week, all my 300+ contacts got a message saying I'd been mugged in Manilla, wanting money. When I went into my emails, it was entirely empty - all 3000+ messages had gone, and my Contacts had vanished too. My emails had been forwarded to a false address that sounded very like mine. I was very shocked and shaken. I did get most of the emails back off my email provider's server (but not all), and all my contacts too, thankfully. But I've been paranoid about checking for anything left on the computer that can read key strikes remotely as I do internet banking. Seems all clear. My advice is - 1. Go to your email account and change your password - now. 2. Also change your security question, just to make sure. 3. Relax.
