Bloody typical, we are currently camping in the wettest place in England,
But at least the XLP has not let a drop in, although its a bit mushy under foot in the living area.
Dreading packing up this weekend as we have no footprint :-(
Good job I changed my mind then! I'd originally intended coming over to Filey for ten days starting Saturday but decided to stay closer to home - looks like I may have made a good decision.
Hope you manage to get packed up without too much mess - and make a note that your next camping buy will be a footprint

Don't you just love Daily Mail articles?!!! Have you read to the end of it - early on, it states weathermen are predicting June will be a washout ... then when you get to the long term forecast at the end, it sounds pretty much like a typical British June - showery/rainy days interspersed with dry, bright, warm days - hardly qualifies as a wash-out!!
Well, it's been dry in Ayrshire for days - all my washing has dried outside this week after a showery Monday. That's the thing about motorhoming - if the weather's lousy, just move. We always look up to the sky now and then, and follow the hole in the clouds. Works every time.
it reminds me when we went in the tent for a bank holiday , it rained all the time when I set up the tent we could put it any where ,I put it on the highest piece of grass , next morning we woke up to see the other side of the road they were ankle deep in water,
