Currently have a Qualcasrt Easi Trax 32, and whilst it works fine, the grass box gets full quickly so at some point will wish to get one with a bigger grass box and are looking for suggestions both petrol and electic

The grass area is at max 50 feet by 10 feet.

The area size hardly warrants the expense of a petrol mower, but the finish is always far superior. Depends what you want to spend.

And is your current one 32 inch cut, or is that a random model number? You wont get much in the way of petrol mowers of any size for £150. Is the grass 'rough' or decent?

A lot also depends on frequency of cut. If you let it get over your boots before cutting, you need a goat, not a mower. Its always going to fill the box quick if its long.

At my last house I used a Qualcast Easi Trax 32 and it had a very small collecting box. I sold my petrol mower and bought the Qualcast and then wished I hadn't...apart from having to empty it every 5 minutes it totally knackered the lawn. I am sure it would be fine for a very flat lawn but my lawn was quite uneven.

I now have a much bigger lawn and have gone back to petrol again and I too would advise using petrol if you can. There are one or two in your price range here

Yep the grassbox is very small had to empty at least four times the other night. However a lot more reliable than a previous flymo which ate belts, we have had the qualcast for 8 years with no replacement parts required.

I had my qualcast for about 10 years I think until I moved to my present address. I sold it for a good price too. There is no doubting they are good mowers on the right lawn and with a bigger grassbox. Now I have a large lawn I wouldn't entertain any electric mower though. They just don't seem to cut lawns as a good as petrol.

Bosch Rotak on offer recently at a few places and happy with ours, bit for that size lawn I would just cut more often and save your money!
