Thanks for the ideas babycake but we tend to use caravan club CLS even the kids when they were growing up would chose a cl to stay on for their holidays instead of a holiday park with every thing on it ,as long as they got to the beach they were happy ,perrinporth been one they loved going to for the day when we went to Cornwall for our holidays .

we have just booked for Cornwall in August   and had no problem    sites don't seem to be as booked up as they usually are . There are quite a lot of good sites we have tried quite a few.

It's a shame. I'd have thought that you could have at least got next week somewhere as most people still have kids at school!

We not members of the caravan club having dropped out some time ago which is a shame really as we prefer a cl site but with with family life at the moment it would be a waste of money joining again as most likely the caravan won"t be used again untill October or even next year at a push .so that's the type of site we are looking for
