Another ill thought scheme to fleece the motorist.
why don't they pick on cyclists for a change make them pay same as moped riders as well as take a test.

A cyclist with 6 supermarket bags on the handlebars, insteps on the pedals instead of balls of the feet, seat to high is the innocent party when in collision with a car.

We nearly hit a cyclist last night. He had no lights on, swung out of a side turning onto the wrong side of the road and we nearly had a head-on crash.

Then we saw why his riding was so erratic. He was standing up on the pedals and had a small child on the saddle.

Idiot.

You meet idiots on or off bikes, when you meet an idiot on a bike & you are driving a car it is still your responsibility to avoid hitting them. Hence the good advice to treat all other road users as idiots at all times.

...the biggest bonus is that it gives me a such a laugh.. grown men in lycra, honestly, its not a good look, the clothing shops are telling you lies......

You need to realise that the wearing of lycra is not for the benefit of voyeurs. It is for the benefit of those participating in their sports.

I tend to find those that have something negative to comment about lycra are those that are jealous that they can't wear it due to too much sofa surfing.
