I often wonder whether the ones asking for sites for wedding/birthday parties actually managed to find a place. Sometimes people forget to click the "E-mail Notify me of Replies" and perhaps think they haven't had any replies?

also sometimes ther is login problems to forums you have just joined. iv had it in the past resulting in opening another new account.

I think we could give a hundred reasons for people not replying/thanking etc for help given and some will be genuine.
I am maybe being cynical but I think some just can't be bothered, they have the info they need and move on..

The only thing I hate on a topic such as this , is when the OP asks for an opinion like....

I want a green or yellow camper, what do you think....and some answers are.

I dont like green or yellow.

I prefer blue

My pet hate is when the innocent OP posts "Should I cook in my tent?" or "Should dogs be allowed off-lead on a campsite?" and the whole rigmarole starts all over again!
