After our flight home was cancelled in Florida, OH bought some cheap disposables from CVS in Florida. He has been using the same one for about 2 months! He was a Mach3 or Gillette Fusion user, swears these are far superior, and we're about $3 for 3. He plans to get some more.
I've never got on with electric razor's and have used various Gillette cartridge razors over the years. Last year I spent £20 on a Feather DE razor and it's great; not a harsh cut and with Feather blades I get a really cheap smooth shave. I use Proraso shaving soap and sensitive skin aftershave because I am prone to rash but no problems.
My OH swears by the razor and replacement blades pack he buys from Lidl. Think they are about £3 ish. He has used named makes but has found these suit him the best.
------------- Wish I could go camping more and not have to work for a living!!!
Husband asked for a proper shaving set for Christmas years ago - so I bought a badger brush little realising this was hardly a wildlife friendly action, til my mates had great delight in telling me my mistake!!! I hadn't thought about it, how could you get the hair off a live badger...
Hmmm - husband has had a beard for years now - it's soooo cheap on razors in this house as son has one too.....
I recently changed from shaving foam and "men's" disposable razor.
I now use brush and shaving soap tesco £3:50 & £1:50 I think respectively, and find I get a closer shave using ladies disposable razors. Best to look out for is using a nail, brush to clean between the blades or they clog and won't shave.
I have subscribed to sterling shave club. They send new blades every month. Fantastic service, great products and great value for money.

Not compared to DE shaving
Once the initial outlay of a decent DE razor and shaving brush etc is out of the way its an incredibly cheap way of shaving.
I stumbled over here by a different website and thought I might check things out. Is there anyone here who can recommend the best electric shaver? Many thanks!
I have been using the cheapo packs of throw away Bic 3 (Sensitive)Orange razors from Asda...Good price at about £2.50 ish for ten.
Wife is a fan of the shopping channel QVC and saw a demo of the wet shave razor from 'King of Shaves'
No need for soaping up, just wet your face wet the razor and Hey Presto shave your face.
I saw the razor in Boots for £9 so brought one.
IT'S THE DOGS!! I normally only shave twice a week as I get very bad rash but first time with this razor and no probs at all, it cut through the 'forest' and NO RASH or redness.
I have given wifey instructions to look out for the offer packs of replacement blades (£8 ish)
Uses a Hyperglide system developed from surgery
They do have a website and you can order stuff on line.
Worth a punt IMHO
