Hubby's neoprene waders are stinking. He's had them a while. Is there a way to un-honk them? Is there a way to prevent it in the first place. I should add that there is no problem with his personal hygeine lol.

Thanks. We keep them at the caravan where they live in the awning - within nose distance! But I'm also asking because I might be getting a pair for myself and want to know how to avoid it - if there is a way.
I get a plastic bag and pierce it then, fill it up with charcoal from the bbq then jam it with news paper up the wader as you are supposed to hang them up to prevent cracking.
PS,bet you will look dead sexy in yours, pink ones maybe ?

Think pink elephant and you'll be closer to the real picture! Lol
You need some wetsuit cleaner, there are several on the market

I have in the past soaked my sons wetsuit boots in a light solution of Milton, this works but isn't great for the neoprene.
I can't find the brand I usually buy listed but I'm told the Ripcurl one is good.
Wetsuit cleaner sorted my sons out after he had been in the Florida swamps doing research, so I'm sure it will resolve anything British waters can throw at neoprene.
I always used to use a sheet of Bounce. Not sure if you can still buy it as i have'nt seen it in the supermarkets for a while now. I also used to keep a sheet in my rucksack with all the fishing gear
