We did have a mouse in our tent once, it was only in the dogs towel and when I shook it out it made it's escape and ran out of the tent, no damage thankfully.
I ran an old pub back in the 80's we had bats and mice to contend with, bat in cornflake box which was very scary when it flew out and settled on the landing, we also had mice under the floor boards and loft in xmas decorations and old packing boxes, it was like a haven for them.
Took a good few trips from Mr Mouse catcher putting powder over floor beams to see where they went and lay traps etc. The bats were harder as they are protected we heard from a local to wait till night turn out all the lights open the windows and put music on!
It seemed to work the bat had gone when we put the lights on, we still had them in the roof, but not in the pub so it must of just strayed in.
