I ordered a couple of seat belt extenders for my car, they didn't fit and have been in touch with the company who supplied them. I bought them via Amazon. The supplier sent the following email, and it just looked suspicious, what do u think?
I'm happy to say we have an Extender that should be great here.
I'd actually love to make an exception for you and save you time and trouble. For just the cost of postage (6,20), I will be happy to send out your new Extenders as soon as possible.
You also do not have to return the original Extenders. You are welcome to keep them for a different vehicle or even gift them to a friend.
To process this, I would be glad to send a secure PayPal invoice to you for this amount, which you can pay by credit card or with your own PayPal account. Can you confirm the best email address for me?
Couldn't be less suspicious could it? Just sounds like great customer service to me. At worst you'll lose £6.20. You could probably eBay the ones you have for that.

They also die if you leave them in the freezer.
Please keep your dogs at room temperature!
Often company's don't bother getting you to send the goods back as it costs more in postage, though I've usually found this more so when goods are damaged.
I think from the wording they have used and the capital E on the word extenders it would trigger suspicion with me. Also, who would "gift" seat belt extenders?!
