Thankfully, her mum is a saint and came to her aid each time. It's really grim and can lead to pretty dangerous levels of dehydration. However, hopefully it will pass and she'll be able to enjoy her pregnancy soon.
FriendOfOwls, I'd like it if she has a wee girl too!
A friend of mine suffered like this just as her older daughter started school along with my daughter. I did the school run and fed and watered the pair of them as her mum was ill at the sight of food. around the same time a neighbours daughter actually died in the later stages of pregnancy after being hospitalized for weeks.
It's a shame the news has had to be made public. I wish her well!!!
I think it was a Westminster decision to make it public. They think it is politically expedient to announce the Countess of Strathearn's pregnancy early.
They think a new Royal wean makes people feel patriotic.

Maybe, there are some engagements coming up. I don't think she would not be attending one of them. I think it may have been their decision. They have been dropping hints.
I bet Harry will be rather pleased though..

No doubt we will now have months of speculation, gossip, photos of the growing bump, endless soundbites of news until she drops .... still it will keep some people happy but personally I couldn't care less.
Well focus, you can always refrain from posting. Lolol you seem to be interested enough of peoples opinion

At least it will be better than some of the news we've had recently from round the world.
I thought it was light hearted, considering what's happening in the world. It provides a bit of distraction.
It seems that James is a favourite with the bookies, if it's a boy.

Good luck to them - they'll need it, it can't be easy living life in the public gaze, however well off you are. I think they must look back on the relative freedom of the Anglesey days quite wistfully sometimes! No dig at heath63 intended, but I have often wondered why in the press articles she is often referred to as Middleton; seems strange after all this time.

Who is Kate Middleton ? Is she famous for something ?
Millionaires daughter Mike caused a stir a few years back when she ran off and married a poor RAF pilot....
Second sprog (by same poor RAF bloke) on the way it seems...Media have latched on to the story...So it appears we will have chapter and verse day by day of it's/Her....and his progress in the ensuing 9 months....

I think that the decision to announce the pregnancy early was because the Duchess has had to cancel a few engagements due to her levels of sickness.
Feeling gross for the first 20 something weeks and suffering from cronic heartburn for the remainder of both my pregnancies was bad enough, to be as ill as she is can not be pleasant.

Oh for heaven's sake Stuart. I know you've gone to Die, but haven't you heard?
She's pregnant or as they call it in Essex 'up the duff'!
Sorry Ollie,I forgot your short attention span.
I was querying why the young lady was not addressed by her main title.
In Essex, getting pregnant is known as "getting a council flat", not thecrude Sussex expression of "up the duff"
That's all right Stuart. I can inform you though that she got her 'council' house and a benefits package when she got married. She didn't have to wait for the pregnancy.

I'm already suffering from morning sickness. It happens every time I open the paper and see the silver spoon brigade and their sycophants. For gawds sake "Woman pregnant" is NOT news. By the time the little blighter is born it'll only have 3/4 of its rightful kingdom to plunder. Yuk.
Lolololol. Some women suffer from mornining sickness more than others. At least it high lights, awareness of the condition, which can be dangerous and to seek help.
