Living with it now as Mum has Terminal cancer, she is currently have chemo to keep the pain at bay but has been told it is just palliative care. what I don't understand is how Linda says she is going to die in January, how does she know that?
someone from work was given 6 months to live and six years on she's still here and fairly well.
it is a truly horrible disease, but as my Mum says, it's nobody's fault she got it, we just deal with each day as it comes and I think her positive attitude really helps, she has just carried on with her life as best she can, she's not letting it beat her. She lives on her own with her dog, a Lurcher who is 15 and should have died long ago but they just seem to keep each other going, the dog can hardly walk now, and has a heart condition but the bond is just amazing. our worry was that the dog was quite unwell when she was in hospital last year and we thought we were going to have him put down, but as soon as Mum came home he came to life again, We think he was just pining for her.
Best wishes to everyone suffering with cancer as it affects the whole family.
