I buy a bottle of Wynns at trade price which does two full tanks IE once a year week prior to Mot always lower than new emissions according to manual but never brings my road fund down

I always mix Redex with diesel bought from supermarket fuel outlets as I believe their diesel lacks additives. When I had a H reg Discovery, Shell diesel made a noticeable difference to performance. My mate who runs an MOT centre says a bottle of Redex thrown in prior to MOT guarantees a pass on the emissions test unless there's something drastically wrong with the engine.
I read recently that Top Gear did a bhp test on a well worn engine and after treatment with Redex, there was a 7bhp improvement on the rolling road. I get it from Costco where it's quite reasonably priced. I run a Toyota Rav4 which I've had from new, now done over 60,000 and runs absolutely superb.
