Has anyone who is with BT had a call from India today? I couldn't understand what the woman was saying, something about my operating system. I asked her several times to get to the point. She ended the call with no further idea what is going on.

Sure it was BT?

I keep getting the Windows Virus man. Says they will cancel my Microsoft Windows licence if I don't do what he says because I am getting loads of viruses. Last time I told him to go ahead and cancel. He said he was doing it and to watch the screen go blank. He said its done, I said yes the screen is blank but wouldn't it be blank anyway if the computer is off!!! He swore at me and slammed the phone down!!!

I always say I haven't got a computer and my husband tells them the windows are lovely and clean and the man is there cleaning them. Still doesn't stop them from phoning again and again!

I did have a call from BT about a week ago offering a new filtering service that stops all these cold callers etc etc even from abroad and even stops the extra ones that the TPS dont catch, I then asked if they follow the tps code of conduct ,,it went quiet and she answered hesitently ...yes... I'm with talk talk so what was BT doing....she made her apologies and went.

Nor does my husband! and he says he wants a tablet..keep taking them I say. I assume because she rang off it wasn't a genuine call.
