For me, rugby is a game for men who like to put their heads up other men's bottoms, and then join them in communal showers.

But in these modern times, live and let live.

Try a plug-in called Hola, we used it for the World Cup last year in Spain.

Try Cricfree.tv but watch out for the optional downloads.

Great second half from England. Could have won by more.

The scummaging in rugby union is still a problem as the game can get held up for two or three minutes at a time. It's great to see packs shoving to gain an advantage but the constant collapsing, wheeling and resetting is a pain. They can learn a thing or two from league here.

That's just how they played at your college. You could always make a statement if you think any of your old masters are still alive.

Sorry John, but have to disagree with you on your last sentence, scrummaging in League in my opinion is a complete farce, the ball on most occasions never even enters the scrum, (I am an ex pro League player).

For years while serving in the Army I refused to play what I considered "puffy" Union. I was eventually talked into playing and I was so pleased I did, biggest shock I ever had! In my position as a stand off (fly half), I was looked after by the forwards. There was proper tactics to the game, yes it does have its downside, kicking backwards and forwards. After leaving the Army, I tried to return to the game I once lived and breathed for, I was so frustrated, yes things have changed, some for the better, but I really can't stand watching League anymore. JMO and each to their own.

Bruneval3 the sole purpose of a league scrum is to get the ball back into play as quickly as possible. It's not viewed a a competitive part of the game.

I agree Union has an advantage In some ways, mauling/rucking is great and there's a lot more in the way of decision making for the players. League is the more straightforward game. Theres more open play In league and it was interesting how Union took the plum out of their mouths a few years ago and learnt a lot from league - in tackling, fitness and running. I love both codes...Warrington and Sale.

Ah the Rohypnol...giving it to all of the young boys was surely one of the causes of his being struck off.

OK you win.

You are far better at this banter than me - you must be an experienced practitioner, you even know the names of the drugs that are used.
