My daughters staffy is in agony with his mouth and whincing in pain ...... is gums look sore i think he is teething he is 25 weeks old is there anything we can give him ,,,,, thanks in advance

Give him something to chew on so he doesn't chew the furniture. If you soak a rope chew in water and freeze it that would help. If you're really worried, perhaps worth a trip to the vets.

Hi we are owned by our staffie named dave
He's now 11 when he was suffering with his teeth (now this sounds bad)
We bought a heavy duty rag toy
Big piece of knotted rope and just played tug of war with him
It sounds cruel but it isn't
Just play tug of war with him and he/she will pull there puppy teeth out as they're playing
We used to find puppy teeth all over the house
Your daughter will be wasting money going to the vets
If playing tug hurts the dog the dog will stop playing but as your daughter already knows the Stafford just loves laying tug of war

Most his teeth are out now but gums are swollen where the new teeth are pushing through :( he just laid on the sofa giving us his gorgeous puppy og eyes

Hi everyone it wasnt his teeth after all they thought it might of been a rare case of meningitis but thank god it isn't. He has been given anti biotics and pain relief they looking into it been maybe a strained muscle in his neck we back at the vets in the morning the vet also said he is very depressed :(
