I went on a team building weekend in the Lake District about 20 years ago. The weekend itself wasnt that great, there were about 60 of us and we were in a Youth Hostel so there was lots of moaning as most of us had given up sleeping in bunk beds etc years and years before..
However, it definately worked as about 20 of us continued to go walking, cycling, days away every two weeks for years after. We were from all different departments , ages and 'walks of life' and became good friends which would never have happened but for the team building weekend .

i like the blindfold tent putting up! i`d pull up a chair with a cuppa
Yes, if you go for that can someone video it and put it on YouTube?
If you can get your hands on some Quechas, blindfolded putting the Quecha in its bag would be funny. Especially if none of them have ever seen a Quecha in the wild.

Your best bet then is to get your tent up and equipment sorted get your campchair andvcuppa and sit back and watch
Have a great weekend

After hiding all of the others' instructions and half their tentpegs, and substituting one of their tent poles for a shorter one
We had a great weekend at charity farm caravan park near wigan. Great weather, lots of booze, played rounders and cricket, football, bowls, had a fire and bbq, sat down and got to know eachother and partners. we all really enjoyed ourselves, and are going to do it again next year.
And the best bit, it only cost me three quid for some firewood. Not bad for a weekend away

My favourite team building exercise is split into teams have string, paper, balloons sellotape and scissors in the centre with limited resources of things like sellotape and scissors.
Give each group an egg and tell them they are working in their teams to build something to drop the egg from a height (we use a step ladder) without breaking it.
Its great fun and amusing to see how everyone goes back to primary school age, snatches the resources and begins by not sharing. Eventually the teams realize they can't succeed without working together and sharing resources.
Interestingly I have done this at a parents V Cubs quiz night with my Cubs, the children all succeeded really well but the adults failed because they got too competitive and didn't work as a team.
