Hugs to you.... sudden death like that is always bloody hard for those left behind...my dear Dad sat in his chair and his heart stopped 10 years ago next month...he had a TV remote control in each hand and a smile on his face bless his heart--and yes--he always said he would want to 'go' like that...he did not suffer however for everyone left behind its the hardest thing to deal with--especialy at such a young age..I felt so angry that I had not told him how much I loved him..and a thousand other things too...
How lovely you were able to speak to him...thinking about you and sending hugs xxx

Nice to see you posting after all this time Kate.

The animals and I are doing ok, Mog (the cat) has come out of hiding and has (sort of) made friends with my own two cats - at least there hasn't been any major battles yet. Sam (the dog) still whinges a bit if he sees me go out of sight but he's settling down slowly. He was away with me and the other two over the weekend at Elvaston Steam Rally and he coped really well in the tent.

The funeral last Friday was a mixture of happiness and sadness, and the vintage tractor and trailer to the cemetery certainly had lots of people stopping to watch as it went past - my ex would have loved that.

Aww sounded like a lovely send off. I am glad Mog and Sam are beginning to settle for you and it's great you have been able to get away and take time out for yourself. I am just off to work so will say bye for now but will hopefully pop on here from time to time. Take care lovely xxxx
