Booked tickets last night for Camping at Upton Blues Festival. This will be our 4th year and its a really good weekend, with plenty of live bands around the town and 2 main stages. Anyone else going?

Possibly for a day, depending on the weather. Don't like blues enough to spend a weekend (and we live very locally so we can just pop in).

Love the pasties from the bakery, they alone are worth the trip!

Music festival is on at the end of August and amazing the town will be buzzing .
If you haven't been the folk festival is also very worth seeing on May Day weekend .

We moved here almost by accident about 25 years ago and I have no intention of leaving, it's a great place to live.

I admit I always think of the late August festival as being the Gosh, Are They Still Alive? Festival, as that's what I always seem to exclaim when I hear the line-up. Slade and Boney M spring to mind as recent appearances.

We're off to the Sunshine Festival at the end of August, looks a great line up!

We're local but will still be camping of course!

Missed last year but I've been going since 2007, the year of the absolutely mahoosive floods. Got back a few ours ago, had an absolutely fantastic time, really, really enjoyed it. Caught up with old friends, made new friends, UBF really is one of the highlights of my year.

2007 was quite an adventure, with all the floods, traffic jams and abandoned vehicles what is normally a 45 minute journey took me.......















27 HOURS!

We had a great time...lovely weather, great bands and atmosphere.

Don't think it will be long before we get a caravan though, in our early 60's and camping in a tent is getting to be hard work now!
