I'm after a bit of sympathy really, I have an infection and it is a pain in the *r5e . My body does not fight infection well (Gilberts syndrome) and antibiotics just compound things. Having had 2 good years without any medical problems, I had forgotten how rough It can get.
Oh you need a poor baby day! In our house you can request a poor baby day when life is rough or you feel poorly. It gives you extra tlc, no chores, chocolate or icecream and tea/coffee/soft drinks made for you. You can also stay in your PJ's and watch rubbish films!
I know that won't help if you are ill long term but just having one day of everyone feeling sorry for you can be all you need!
Seriously though, I hope you start to feel better soon 😊

I like that It's a shame no-one else in the house likes it
Can sympathise with you, been on antibiotics since May for chest infection and some other bug thats got into my lungs. Nothing is working and as you say taking the antibiotics brings its own set of problems.
Waiting on appointment with Consultant to see what to do next.
NHS up here try to get you seen within 12 wks but its now 16 wks, been waiting 7 wks and feel worse each day.
Hope things settle soon for you. I have it on good authority that a wee dram now and again can help

It is a fool who has to say something.

They would not let me go on that long, so would be taken into hospital and put on an intravenous AB drip
I'd try the wee dram But my Doc would go mental
Hope you get better soon too
